Description

The 2JZ Engine is the legendary JDM heart reimagined in collector form. Chrome-finished, precision-built, and loaded with the detail one of the most iconic engines ever made deserves.

Every element recreated with accuracy and attitude: chrome-finished components, iconic inline-6 layout, turbo piping, and authentic block structure. Add the included battery box and watch the internals come to life with smooth, realistic motion: pistons cycling, crankshaft turning, mechanical assembly running just like the real thing.

Functional crankshaft, connecting rods, timing system, valvetrain elements, and exhaust manifold detailing throughout. This is what a JDM legend looks like up close.

Customer photo review of 2JZ Engine

All good, it's just that I wasn't aware I need to assemble it

2JZ Engine

Store owner replied: Hi Faisal! Our brand is all about building models for fun, so the product page and packaging make it clear that this is a DIY set with 1,000+ pieces to assemble. We’re sorry if that wasn’t clear enough before you ordered! Still, “I thought it was pre-assembled” might just win the award for most unexpected review we’ve received 😄 Your review has made our whole team’s day—thanks for giving us a laugh! Hope the build turns out to be more fun than a headache!

Creative build techniques, superb metallic parts. It‘s way bigger than i have expected based on the pictures, the build took me a few hours. Delivery to Switzerland was quick (within a week).

Store owner replied: Thank you for your fantastic review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the creative building techniques and the metallic parts. It's great to know the model exceeded your expectations in size and provided several hours of enjoyable building. We're also pleased that your delivery to Switzerland was quick and smooth. Thank you for your support, and we hope you enjoy many more builds with us!

The item is cool 😎 The delivery was a bit of a let down. All the corners of the box arrived crushed. It’s a pity as the box is a nice element to collect and keep.

There are missing pieces in the kit, making it a problem when assembling because well, you don’t have all the pieces.

Bricks Quality

PowerBuild® sets are engineered for an exceptionally smooth building experience. Each brick clicks firmly into place with a precise fit that feels both solid and satisfying. Once assembled, the structure holds strong, yet an included brick separator tool allows you to easily adjust or rebuild whenever you like. To enhance authenticity, certain elements feature chrome, gold or metallic finishes, adding a distinctive touch that makes every model stand out.

Who designed this model?

This model, like many others from PowerBuild®, was designed by MoonRock — one of the creative minds behind our most iconic builds.
