Description
The Toyota 2000GT is Japan's first supercar. Only 351 units were ever built between 1967 and 1970 — a number comparable to the most exclusive Italian supercars of its era. It debuted at the Tokyo Motor Show, stunned the world, and single-handedly changed how the automotive industry viewed Japan. Today, surviving examples sell at auction for over $1,000,000. It is, without question, one of the most collectible cars ever made.
This is the PowerBuild® Toyota 2000GT — GT Show Exclusive Edition. Officially licensed by Toyota, finished in classic white with vintage Toyota vinyl graphics and custom chrome wheels — a tribute built with the same reverence the original commands.
Delivered in an exclusive collector's display box in Toyota's iconic red, with hand-crafted artistic packaging designed exclusively for this edition and never to be repeated.
One run. One edition. 100 units. Once they're gone, this set disappears — permanently.
Ultra limited. Officially licensed. Built for collectors.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 5.0 / 5 from 9 reviews.
Very nice! But... This is my second set; my first one was the LC78. Both sets are fun to build, and there are no missing parts. But the builds are fragile; the parts/pieces/assemblies rely on a single stud to attach, and this makes them unstable and prone to failing. Bumpers are problematic, and on the LC78 the spare tire keeps falling out. The roofs are not very sturdy either. The 2000 GT's roof is easy to break loose. It would be easy to add pieces inside the cockpit to ensure it stays aligned with the rear. I consider these design flaws that diminish the building experience and enjoyability of handling the car once assembled.
The doors are weak need a build improvement
My second mystery box and I land the limited edition Toyota 2000GT! Super awesome box design and I can't wait to build and display the finished car.

Bricks Quality
PowerBuild® sets are engineered for an exceptionally smooth building experience. Each brick clicks firmly into place with a precise fit that feels both solid and satisfying. Once assembled, the structure holds strong, yet an included brick separator tool allows you to easily adjust or rebuild whenever you like. To enhance authenticity, certain elements feature chrome, gold or metallic finishes, adding a distinctive touch that makes every model stand out.
